DA Costa Banderas Vice Chair

As a woman and person of color, I have strived to be seen and heard through hard work. When recognized through opportunities for advancement, I have consistently reached back to help others achieve success. My goal as Vice Chair is to support the goals and efforts of our Board in expanding our reach and educating U.S. citizens on their right and responsibility to vote. In the words of Martin Luther King Jr., “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” Though I have the luxury of living abroad, I will always fight alongside my fellow Americans for justice and equality in all its forms.

I am a native Texan, born in Corsicana just a short drive from Dallas. My mom joined the Air Force when I was just four years old. We spent many years living abroad, but always returned to the U.S. I am proud to be an American!
