🗽NO TYRANTS/NO KINGS 🇺🇸
Resistance to the corruption and power grab in Washington must come from the people. Now is our chance to act - even from abroad!Â
Be part of a worldwide resistance effort - expected to be one of the largest international demonstrations for democracy and resistance to the corruption and power grab currently underway in Washington. Together, we will show that people power outpaces any authoritarian aspirations.
On June 14, 1775, the Continental Congress established the Continental Army to fight against monarchy and create a free, democratic nation. Now, 250 years later, we face threats to those same democratic principles our founders fought to establish.
Instead of allowing this historic anniversary to be overshadowed by displays of authoritarian power by the current administration, we're joining a global coalition to reclaim this day for its true meaning: rejecting autocratic rule and defending democracy.
Date: Saturday, June 14th Time: Starting at 1:00 PM
Location: Place Gutenberg, Strasbourg What to bring: Your voice, signs, and passion for democracy
All are welcome - whether you want to speak, help organize, or simply stand with us in solidarity. If you cannot attend, we encourage you to post a message or picture of a poster on our DA Strasbourg Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DAStrasbourg
Stand with Americans and allies worldwide as we defend democratic principles and reject strongman politics.
We also invite you to support the annual Strasbourg Pride Parade on the 14th from 2:00 pm. The theme this year is the fight against fascism—a powerful reminder that the struggle for human dignity and democratic values is a shared mission that unites us all.
