Welcome to our Kitchen Table

Kitchen Table Talks (KTTs) are small group conversations held by Democrats Abroad members to talk about issues that matter to Americans abroad. Your group's discussion feedback helps shape the 2028 Democrats Abroad Platform.

The focus of our first KTT will be Democracy. To guide our discussion, we will refer to the “Defending Democracy” section of the 2024 Democrats Abroad Platform, along with a few select related sections.

The 2024 platform can be downloaded at the following link: https://www.democratsabroad.org/our_charter_and_platform  We will have hard copies of the relevant sections of the platform available at the meeting for reference.

Susan Barendregt, our Vice Chair, and Will Bakker, Former Chair, will guide the discussion on Tuesday July 14, 2026 at 7:00pm.
