Resistance Reading Room

The Resistance is now. Join us as we meet twice a month to share and discuss relevant readings for our moment in US politics, and what we can do from Paris — with eyes on helping Democrats taking back House and Senate in 2026.

Each session will incorporate three different kinds of texts - a core work of non-fiction, one shorter contemporary article, and one piece of fiction or poetry. These sessions and the proposed reading are intended to encourage engagement as people have capacity, but to also grow community and discussion even if not everyone can read every word, every time. This is NOT homework. We want to encourage reading, reflection, listening and discussion as we come together to deepen our understanding of how to drive lasting, positive democratic change.
