CA Prop 50: The First Line of Defense Against GOP Election Rigging

 

California voters abroad have a unique chance to fight back against MAGA’s attempts to rig the 2026 midterms.

Proposition 50, on the ballot in 2025, is California’s bold response to Republican gerrymandering schemes in Texas and other states designed to erase Democratic and independent congressional districts. Prop 50 — the Election Rigging Response Act — ensures that California won’t stand by while the GOP undermines free and fair representation nationwide.

In 2024, more than 167,000 Californians abroad cast their ballots. With even more voices waiting to be heard in 2025, our votes from abroad can play a decisive role in passing Prop 50 and protecting the House of Representatives in 2026.
