Americans have a long tradition of civic engagement and giving back, and as we continue our work for democracy at home, we also want to invest in the community where we live.
On Sunday, April 26, we'll spend an hour or two making our city a little cleaner and a lot brighter. The City of Vienna is providing trash bags, gloves, and safety vests — all you need to bring is your water bottle (let’s not make extra trash!) and your energy.
We'll be at Prater/Kaiserwiese (near the Riesenrad) from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. See the map below for our meeting point. Look for our Democrats Abroad and Vote from Abroad t-shirts!
Our event falls within Vienna's annual "Vienna Cleans Up" campaign run by MA 48. Fighting for democracy back home starts with showing up in the community where we live. See you out there!. Please RSVP asap!
