Monique D. Griffith is a Native New Yorker raised in Teaneck, New Jersey. She has been resident in South Africa since January 1998. Monique looks forward to helping DASA to facilitate active voting participation amongst Americans resident in South Africa to strengthen this voting block and to counteract voter suppression, apathy and inconveniences. Monique works with the City of Johannesburg's Smart City Office as its Deputy Unit Head overseeing programme management and innovation.
