FLORIDA IS HOLDING A SPECIAL ELECTION FOR US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES--LET'S ADD ANOTHER DEMOCRAT TO CONGRESS!
There's a special election in Florida's 20th Congressional District to replace Democrat Alcee Hastings, who died last April.
All overseas voters with a voting address in Florida's 20th District may vote in this election. To find your Congressional District, enter your voting address here: www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative
1) Register to Vote and Request Your Ballot TODAY
It's Easy to Request Your Ballot, But Don't Delay and Miss Your Chance to Vote
Go to www.votefromabroad.org and follow the prompts to fill out the form to request your ballot, the Federal Post Card Application form (FPCA). (If needed, it will also serve as a voter registration.) To ensure you receive your ballot in time, please check the box on the FPCA to have your blank ballot sent to you by “Email/Online” or “Fax”.
- To register to vote: You must send in the form by mail and it must be Postmarked by December 13.

If you are already registered to vote, you MUST still send in an FPCA in 2021 to request your ballot to vote in this election. You can send in your FPCA to your local election office in Florida by email (recommended), fax, or mail.
- If you indicate on the FPCA that you want your ballot sent to you by email (which we recommend) or fax, then your FPCA must be received by January 11, 2022, at 7pm Eastern time.
- If you indicate that you want you ballot sent to you by mail, then your FPCA must be received by January 1, 2022, at 5pm Eastern time.
- If you indicate on the FPCA that you want your ballot sent to you by email (which we recommend) or fax, then your FPCA must be received by January 11, 2022, at 7pm Eastern time.
2) Fill Out Your Ballot and Send It Back Right Away
Mark your calendar--ballots will go out by November 27. If you asked for your ballot by email, be sure to check your spam folder and any secondary inboxes.
When you get your ballot, fill it out and return it right away. We highly recommend you return your ballot by fax, so you don't have to worry that your ballot will be delayed or lost in the mail.
- If you return your ballot by fax, it must be received in Florida by January 11, 2022.
- If you return your ballot by mail, it must be postmarked by January 11, 2022 AND received in Florida by January 21, 2022.
3) Confirm That Your Ballot Was Accepted and Counted
After you send in your ballot, make sure your vote is received and counted!

Send in your ballot as early as possible so if there's any problem, you'll have time to fix it.
You can send in a “Cure Affidavit” with a copy of your US Passport or Military ID by email, but it must be received in Florida by January 13, 2022 at 5:00pm Florida time.
