🗳️ Midterm elections are nearing! Do you have questions about voting from the Caribbean or need help registering as an absentee overseas voter?  Come join us EVERY Monday at 12 noon ET/AST for our half-hour weekly online Voter Assistance and Resistance Roundtable session. We have certified overseas voting assistants to answer your questions and help you register. 

We will also share our Resistance Action of the day that you can take to make a difference. Everyone is welcome.

📣  We also meet online on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:00pm Eastern/Atlantic time (3:00pm Central) — and we feature a special guest speaker every other month! Recent guest speakers have included Randi Weitzner on Voter Assistance Training and Grace Carryer on Young Voters’ Perspectives. In April, to celebrate Earth Day, we hosted a screening of the documentary “The White House Effect.”

Join us on August 19^th to hear Missy McGinnes from Red Wine and Blue and learn how that group organizes to defeat extremism. All DA members are welcome.

👨🏽‍💻  Join the Executive Committee of Democrats Abroad Caribbean Islands in welcoming Colin Eastburn-Mallory as our new Secretary. Originally from Illinois, Colin moved abroad when he was 18 and has lived (and voted from abroad) in Canada, Guyana, Israel, Guernsey, and now the Cayman Islands. He has earned an Honours BA from the University of Toronto (Canada), and a LL.M from BPP University (UK). Colin is a Chartered Secretary/Governance Professional and has spent the last ten years working in the corporate governance of financial institutions. Colin says, “I’m excited to use my skills and experience to help other Americans living abroad participate in, and defend, our democracy.”
