Coordinator Cassandra Engeman talked about the get-out-the-vote (GOTV) effort underway from Democrats Abroad Sweden (DAS) at an afterwork held at O'Leary's in Uppsala Wednesday 18 March. The GOTV effort targets DAS members who may not have requested their ballots for the 2026 election cycle, helping them request their ballots and otherwise pointing them toward whatever information they might need. About 25 were in attendance, including three generations of one family. Cassandra described how the effort is going so far, answered questions and recruited new phonebankers.
