The Göta chapter held its most recent afterwork Wednesday 17 September at De Klomp Restaurant - Bar - Cafe in Lidköping. We spoke about upcoming events such as the meetup in Norrköping in October and the plans for a Thanksgiving event in October. We shared stories, had a beer or two, and enjoyed the evening with good company!

On a more serious note, we talked about the proposed amendments to the UOCAVA (Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act) law that would prevent Americans abroad from voting and how we could fight back, including calling our representatives in the House and Senate. Even though this was a difficult conversation to have, it was helpful to have it in good company. During these difficult times, it is great to have a community where we feel safe to share our thoughts about what is happening "back home".
