Dear Students,
Vote from Abroad is here to help you navigate the process of requesting and returning your ballots while you’re studying abroad. Your voice matters, and we want to make sure you’re ready to make it heard!
Join us at https://www.votefromabroad.org/voter-support/ for one of our dedicated student office hours every Thursday, 18:00 to 19:30 Greece time via Zoom.
Haven't requested your ballot yet? Don’t wait any longer! Head over to students.votefromabroad.org to get started today. Or feel free to call Brady Kiesling of Democrats Abroad Greece at +30 6946578290.
Note on envelopes. The plain white business envelopes you find in Greece are likely to be DL+ size rather than U.S. #10. You can use them for both your security envelope (if you fold your ballot in thirds) and for the outer mailing envelope.
You can set your printer’s paper size to DL, but most likely the print on your official return envelope will be too small if you print that size, so you will have to write the address by hand. It will cost about €2.50 mailed normally through the Greek post office.
The larger size envelopes, B5, are likely to be a better match for the ballot return pdf that comes with your ballot. Set your paper size to B5 (JIS) and print full size. Then put the DL+ white security envelope inside with your ballot declaration. This will cost about €4.00 to mail.
That’s it. Don’t wait till the last minute. It’s fast, easy, and … vitally important!
