Happy Hour in Athens

Back in town! Back in action! Actually, Athens chapter never really left. Some of us were here all summer. So, we democrats and friends will meet again at En Aithria in Monastiraki on September 8, the second Tuesday of the month as usual. We're still adhering to summer hours, though, 7:30 pm to avoid the heat. 

SPECIAL TREAT: Our friend Karine Ancellin will be with us for a book signing! Her new novel, Blue Dunes, has just hit the book shops, and she'll have a few copies, too, in case you haven't got yours yet. Read a short interview on the DAGR News page.

ALSO: We'll be just a week out from Ballot Drop ... Sep. 19, the day states have to send out ballots. If you haven't requested your ballot yet, there'll be folks there who can help and remind you to have yours sent by email so it arrives same day. Trump's been messing with the Post Office, and regular mail has been dragging. 

So, bring questions, interest, and a friend or six. New faces are more than welcome! The view of the Acropolis is amazing, and there are many dining options all around.
