Athens democrats and friends will meet again at En Aithria in Monastiraki on July 14, the second Tuesday of the month as usual, but this time a bit later, 7:30 pm to avoid the heat.
It's Bastille Day, an excellent day to grab your torches and pitchforks to join us.
As always, there is a lot to talk about. Whether it's the fiasco of the Reflecting Pool, where Trump gave the guy from his golf courses a no-bid contract to turn this sacred monument into a swimming pool full of green slime, in the process pouring millions of your tax dollars into the sewer. Or the courts, which have been handing down some very interesting rulings. Or the Iran tragicomedy. Or just the fact that we are interesting people living in interesting times.
So let's drink and talk. Bring a friend or six. The view of the Acropolis is amazing and there are many dining options all around.
