If not, you may be missing out on important local news. Okay, that may include the local sports teams, and we won’t say no to that. But it's increasingly important o keep up with state politics as well. And report back to your DA state team … if you’ve got one.

This Arizona Republic article discusses early fundraising and what it may mean to the Senate race shaping up between Democrat Ruben Gallego and now Independent and friend of the finance industry, Kirsten Sinema. It's a federal race, the kind we all can vote in per UOCAVA law. It's also one that influences the state and local races downballot. There's some clear distance in approach between rising star Gallego and the incumbent, but you won't hear much about it in DA circles till after the primary is decided.
