It's been 62 years since one of the great tragedies of American history, the assassination of JFK. And yet, the nation rose from its grief and, in the decade that followed, we enacted some of the landmark legislation we're most proud of ... the Voting Rights Acts, the War on Poverty. And ... we'd love to say 'and more' but we were also bogged down in the Big Muddy, the Vietnam war. 

November 22 is a day to remember, reflect, redouble our efforts, because THIS Nov. 22 we're ruled by an autocrat who wants to tear it all down. 

Come out. Clear heads over coffee. And join us in setting out what WE can do to put the ship of state back on an even keel and plowing ahead.

There's no need to RSVP, but you can if you'd like, especially if you're new and you'd like to let us know you're coming. Bring a friend, too. You don't have to be a DA member to meet up and see if it's a fit for you.
