On April 1, Wisconsin will elect a State Supreme Court Justice. Justices serve 10-year terms and make decisions that impact your rights, including abortion access and voting laws. This election will shape Wisconsin’s future for decades to come.
We urge you to vote for Judge Susan Crawford, the common-sense candidate who will help maintain the court’s 4-3 liberal majority. Crawford is committed to protecting democracy and preserving essential freedoms. Ballot Measure 1 is a constitutional amendment requiring IDs to vote - even though Wisconsin already has a voter ID law. If passed, future changes to ID requirements would be near-impossible. Overseas voters will be disproportionately impacted. Many would need to return to Wisconsin for new IDs before the 2026 elections. VOTE NO to keep voting accessible.
Ballots will be sent starting March 11 to registered overseas voters who selected “intend to return” on their ballot request. Wisconsin’s voter registration deadline is March 12, meaning new voters only have TWO DAYS to register. Please register and request your 2025 ballots using VoteFromAbroad.org NOW. Be sure to request that your clerk email your ballot to guarantee a fast turnaround time.
All ballots and backup ballots must arrive by 8 PM on April 1. This may not be enough time due to USPS delays. If you’re concerned about timing, send a Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (FWAB) as a backup now. Courier services can cost $20-$120, so sending the FWAB now could save you stress and money.
