If you're an American living in or near the Slocan Valley (or are traveling through), we'd love to meet you!

Democrats Abroad is hosting a casual Donuts & Democracy (D&D) gathering at the Silverton General Store where we'll enjoy coffee, donuts, and good conversation while sharing information about upcoming community events and our Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) activities leading up to the 2026 US Midterm Elections.

Our D&D gatherings provide a nice opportunity to connect in person, ask questions, and meet other Americans living in the area. If you've been meaning to register to vote from abroad—or just want to learn how it works—we'll be there to help every step of the way.

Everyone is welcome, whether you're already involved with Democrats Abroad or are simply curious. Feel free to bring a friend, and if you know other Americans in the area, please help spread the word!

If you'd like to get a head start on registering to vote, you can begin the process anytime at VoteFromAbroad.org using your last U.S. address (or a parent's address). We'll be happy to answer questions and help you complete your registration.
