Democrats Abroad Nicaragua (DAN) is the official country committee for Democrats living in Nicaragua.

Our mission is to help U.S. citizens living abroad to register to vote and to request their overseas ballots with www.VotefromAbroad.org., to elect Democrats, and educate U.S. citizens living, working, serving, and/or studying abroad about issues and legislation that affects them. The Democratic Party is the only major political party that affords its members this opportunity. Democrats Abroad sends voting delegates to its national convention to nominate a candidate for President. DAN is one of more than 100 country committees of Democrats Abroad, the official affiliate of the Democratic Party for millions living outside the United States.
