Cultural Afternoon: Iran in transition theme, with Iranian pianist Layla Ramezan
Join Democrats Abroad at a member's home overlooking Lake Leman for an exceptional afternoon of classical music, along with discussion on Iranians' struggle for human rights and a chance to socialize with other Democrats. Our musical special guest will be pianist Layla Ramezan who will present "Horizons", a classical music program evoking "a garden at the crossroads of Europe and the Middle East". There will be plenty of time to talk with Ms. Ramezan about her efforts to bridge Iranian and Western societies via artistic endeavor. Refreshments will be offered by the host.
