DemsAbroad April 2024 Walk and Talk
From Puidoux, around la Tour de Gourze and down to Epesses
A Saturday walk with Democrats Abroad and an opportunity to meet members, to discuss topics for which we can advocate a position with elected US officials and to socialize with like-minded people.
Details of the walk: Our adventure will begin 10:30 AM at the Puidoux train station. From there it is a 10 km walk on quiet paved and gravel roads, with a very gradual 340 m vertical up and 580 m down, which takes approx 3 hours at a leisurely pace for plenty of photography. Plus an hour's picnic lunch pause at a picnic table in the Lavaux, total time 4 hours.
Upon your RSVP, our confirmation letter will include route map and route profile.
What to wear and bring: Wear layers and good walking shoes; we will not stay on paved roads. Bring your picnic lunch and beverages.

Public Transport: Trains from Vevey, Lausanne and Fribourg stop at the Puidoux station. Also Bus 382.
