Come along for the fourth and final Walk and Talk for 2023 hosted by DACH Suisse Romande Chapter. Join us on a beautiful Autumn walk, moderate uphill, from Aubonne to Ballens by way of the Vallon de l'Aubonne, the renowned Arboretum, and pastoral field and forest. A three-hour walk plus break for picnic lunch. At Ballens we'll board the BAM train for Morges and home, with optional stop at the beautiful Vufflens-le-Chateau.
What to bring: Layers, rain protection in case of iffy forecast, good walking shoes, picnic lunch.
Getting there by train: There are two buses/hour to Aubonne bus station, our meeting point, from Allaman train station. On the return, the BAM train ends at Morges station. By car: The long Esplanade, next to the rotary entering Aubonne ville and the bus station, usually has space. Paid covered parking also available further in by the Migros.
