Required Postal Mail Ballot Return

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. If you vote in one of the states below, your ballot must be returned by postal mail. No email, no fax, no upload.

Postal mail return states: Arkansas, Connecticut, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin (civilians), Vermont, Wyoming

Regular international mail is now too slow. Use a courier service (DHL, FedEx, UPS) to send your ballot back. Even expedited couriers take several days to reach the U.S. Haven’t requested your ballot yet? You may still have time, but time is of the essence,

👉 Request your ballot today at VoteFromAbroad.org.

Choose email delivery when you fill out the form. Your ballot arrives in your inbox instead of crossing an ocean, so you can print it, fill it out, and get it back fast.

Your game plan:

  1.   Request your ballot now at VoteFromAbroad.org and select email delivery.

  2.   Vote it the day it arrives. Don’t wait for the weekend.

  3.   Send it back ASAP by courier. Couriers can’t deliver to P.O. boxes, so ask your local election office for a street address.

  4.   Confirm it arrived. Contact your election office or check your state’s ballot tracker.

If you need help at any step in the process, please contact our voter assistance team. These are real people who know what they are doing.

Americans abroad decide close races. Your vote counts, but only if it gets there.
