I have several patents to my name. I have been involved in software development and product rollout. Besides my professional engagements I had the opportunity to serve in school board and my housing society where I have interacted with many.

Describe your volunteer work with DA and cite your greatest DA accomplishment.

I have not participated in DA activities so far.

 Why are you running for this office?

As a democrat, I have believe it is important for us to be organized. Also as democrats outside of US, we must have a voice. The following are close to my heart and I believe we should actively campaign for these:

1) Voting rights - As citizens staying abroad flexibility in casting absentee ballots is a must. Similarly, the restrictions now legislated by some states is an affront on democratic principles.

2) Health Care Reforms - Many abroad will retire at 60. How do such people get covered by insurance while in US. Private insurance, even with Obamacare, is to costly as we know.

3) stricter Gun laws - To protect us from violence whether from hate crime or lunatics.

How will your skill sets and experience contribute to DA's success?

I have had extensive experience in school boards and housing societies. I have learnt how to communicate to diverse groups, prioritize initiatives so that it is acceptable to all. I am passionate about global politics and keep myself abreast of the major political issues in US.

Are there any DA organizational or practical issues (not political goals) that you would like to address should you be elected?

We need to create a support system so that the organization can stand behind individuals in need be it passport renewal, taxation or other issues faced by democrats living abroad.

How can Democrats Abroad best raise our profile among American voters abroad and better work to elect Democrats?

Democrats abroad need to disseminate key information for races which can be won by democrats so that all of us can influence our friends to vote democrats in such races.
