Texas in 2025

TEXANS ABROAD IN 2025

DON’T MESS WITH YOUR VOTE — MAKE IT COUNT FROM ANYWHERE

Just because you’re overseas doesn’t mean Texas stops counting on you. In 2025, your vote matters more than ever, with statewide constitutional amendments, judicial elections, and local races on the ballot.

Whether you call Dallas, Houston, Austin, El Paso, San Antonio, or a small Texas town home — if you're eligible, you can still vote from abroad.

What’s on the Ballot in 2025?

General Election – November 4, 2025

Texans will cast votes on:

  • State constitutional amendments (as proposed by the Texas Legislature)
  • Local elections — including city councils, school boards, mayors, and bond measures
  • Judicial races, including:
    • Seats on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals
    • Intermediate appellate courts
    • Various district and county judgeships depending on your home county

From justice reform to public education, the choices made in these elections affect every corner of the Lone Star State.

Yes, You Can Vote From Abroad — Texas Law Says So

📨  Use Vote From Abroad

If you’re a U.S. citizen from Texas living overseas — either temporarily or permanently — or you’re serving in the military, you can vote absentee under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA).

📝 Texas recommends that you submit a new FPCA (Federal Post Card Application) each calendar year to stay registered and receive your ballot.

👉Use  VoteFromAbroad.org. It’s free, nonpartisan, and fast — no ten-gallon hat required.

📌Use your last address in Texas to keep your registration tied to your voting county.

Texas pride doesn’t stop at the border. Make sure your vote is counted — because when Texans vote, Texas leads.
