Name: Cecil Hill Gender: Male
Candidate: International Vice Chair Member since: 2018 Country/Countries: Philippines Biography: My background has been in general and human resources management within the public and private sectors. That experience spans 30+ years. I like to help others improve and broaden their perspectives. I strongly believe that there is strength in diversity and value the perspectives of all people. I truly believe that as human beings, we have more in common than we have differences. For example, irrespective of culture, every family desires financial, employment, and social security. This includes national security, health and safety, and the freedom to pursue one's aspirations along with the freedom from crime and corruption or from those that would do harm. As Americans, we set the standard and are the model for which other democratic loving countries aspire. I believe that God has placed this responsibility upon us. My God always help and protect us!. |

Describe your volunteer work with DA and cite your greatest DA accomplishment.
I have not volunteered for or worked on behalf of DA.
Why are you running for this office?
Democrats must become more strong and assertive in this age of rising autocracies and within the increasingly competitive international economy.
How will your skill sets and experience contribute to DA's success?
I will dedicate myself to helping DA make known its values and benefits to others.
Are there any DA organizational or practical issues (not political goals) that you would like to address should you be elected?
Reaching out to members and prospective members is always a priority in order to understand their needs and solicit their suggestions. Additionally, increasing the participation of members in disseminating our values and being role models of the American way of life, is so very important. Involving members in the cultural aspects of the countries in which they reside, allowing them to understand those cultures, then injecting American values so that other cultures understand the democratic way of life better.
How can Democrats Abroad best raise our profile among American voters abroad and better work to elect Democrats?
Constant communication to our members and a concern for their welfare. We simply must care for one another.
