Born in West Windsor, New Jersey, Donna Sen Ghosh represents a younger generation of politically active members within the Democratic Party. She has long been interested in politics and ran to become a DNC Delegate for Democrats Abroad to participate directly in the political process and use her voice to speak on behalf of younger generations within the party.
Sen Ghosh, who currently resides in Reims, France is honored to participate more directly in the political process by attending the Democratic National Convention. “This will be my first time voting in a Presidential election, so I’m ecstatic to be able to directly contribute to it. On a side note, I’m also looking forward to seeing the balloons drop.”
To get out the vote and bolster support for presumptive nominee Kamala Harris, Sen Ghosh will reach out to the local caucuses and chapters across the country to help them organize GOTV events. As the GOTV officer in France, her main focus will remain on university outreach to American students living abroad who are unaware of the voting process overseas.
