The Democrats Abroad (DA) delegation to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, led by International Chair Martha McDevitt-Pugh, consists of ‘at-large’ delegates, who were elected by the broader DA membership to vote for the Presidential nominee, one PLEO, and our DA DNC Members.
The delegation is historically diverse and representative of America and Americans who live outside of the USA. In addition, delegation members live in 16 countries around the world and vote in 19 states in the USA, including 8 battleground states.

In 2020, 1.25 million American citizens living abroad registered to vote. GOTV among Americans living abroad is one of DA's core functions, and raising awareness of this constituency will be a top priority for the Delegation in Chicago.
