Born in Lenexa, KS Jin Hyungjoon is a dedicated member of Democrats Abroad who is enthusiastic about participating directly in this historic election. He ran to become a DNC Delegate for DA to take on a greater role in the political process while living abroad in Solola, Guatemala. 

Hyungjoon is honored to see Kamala Harris speak at the Convention. “I am excited about [...] Harris being the presumptive nominee of our party. I am proud to be a delegate to this historic National Convention where the first Black and South-Asian [American] woman will become the nominee of a major political party.” 

To get out the vote and bolster support for Harris from now until the election, Hyungjoon is holding several voter registration events throughout Guatemala and volunteering to join phone bank campaigns.
