This event will be an informal talk amongst attendees about the candidates who are still running. There will be information about the positions of each candidate on the major topics of the Presidential Campaign season, plus you have an opportunity to share your preferences and to hear from others. The event in Geneva was a great success and we had over 20 people who participated in an evening of learning/sharing in a positive atmosphere.
This is an important year for the future of all Americans as we approach what will be a monumental election. The primaries are vital to selecting a candidate for the Democratic Party who will be victorious in November. As we enter into the main events of the Primary process, Vance will be hosting a series of events around Switzerland so that individuals can learn more about each candidate and then make informed decisions as they vote in the Global Presidential Primary (see more information about the GPP here).
Our new DACH Chair Vance White has worn glasses since he was 10 years old, but he still has a very clear vision of what DACH must accomplish in 2020 and why we must be successful in the 2020 Elections!
These events use the theme of 2020 Vision and will allow you, individuals who have a multitude of reasons to support a particular candidate, to be candid about your preferences and discuss the positive aspects that helped you to prefer that candidate. And for those of you who have not yet determined which candidate is your favorite, we hope that the candid sharing of information about candidates will help you to know more about the platforms of the candidates as you prepare to vote in the Global Presidential Primary.
This event is FREE OF CHARGE, but we will gladly accept cash donations from any US citizens who attend the event. Democrats Abroad Switzerland is a volunteer organization that relies on donations to be able to provide outreach, voter education, and voter registration services. With the critical nature of the 2020 election, we need your financial support to allow us to register and motivate as many voters living in Switzerland as possible.
