Nancy Longatan has been married to a Filipino for 17 years, 10 of which have been spent here in the Philippines, mostly in the Cordillera Region. She is a freelance trainer and blogger, offering short training programs in "Doing Business in the Philippines", "Culture Shock", "Cross-Cultural Communication" and the like. Before her marriage, she worked for four years in Japan at an international training center for rural leaders, and 10 years in Nepal in rural development programs.

Nancy appreciates Democrats Abroad's mission to get everyone to vote from wherever they live, and also the community it creates among members. Her hobbies are herb gardening and Sudoku.
