• How the deterrence and criminalization of immigration has fatal and life-altering consequences.
  
  
• How this criminalization results in the empowerment of criminal organizations and fuels government corruption.
  
  
• The role of private corporations (prisons, airlines and more) and their huge financial stake in this travesty of justice.
