Annual General Meeting 2025

DAY Yucatan Annual Meeting 2025

Our upcoming Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 5, at 6pm at Hennessy’s Irish Pub, on Paseo de Montejo. Calle 56-A, #486A x 41 y 43, Centro, Merida, Yucatan. At this gathering, we’ll complete the election of our new board of directors, review our key successes and challenges in 2024, and identify our priorities for 2025 – and we need your input.

The electronic ballot for the 2025-2027 Board for the Yucatan  Chapter of Democrats Abroad is open now and will close at 4:59 pm on March 4. In addition to the election of the officers of our board, we will update you on our activities this past year through our  Chair and Treasurer reports and the minutes of last year’s 2024 Annual General Meeting, and we’ll ask for your questions and approval on the ballot. If you cannot attend the meeting itself, you can still vote electronically – and we hope you do! To access your electronic ballot, click here.  Please let us know if you have trouble using the ballot.

The votes will be verified and counted by the Nominations and Elections Committee at this meeting. The results will be announced as soon as the votes are counted, which we expect will take only a few minutes.

A few practical notes:

  • To vote in this election, you must be a member of Democrats Abroad Yucatan no later than March 3. To join Democrats Abroad, visit DemocratsAbroad.org/join
