Chapter Elections 2025 - Heidelberg-Rhine-Neckar Region

Every two years, the chapters of Democrats Abroad Germany hold their chapter elections for leadership positions. This year on March 7 at 6:30 pm we will be voting for our new Chapter Chair and Vice Chair. Information about how to run and the voting process should be in your email inbox as a message from the Chapter Nominations and Elections Committee (CNEC), or you can go here to read more! All positions will receive training from DA and can draw from the experience of past officers.

Important! The elections will begin at 7:30pm - the meeting before hand at 6:30pm. Please be on time as it facilitates the election process (being sure of quorum, confirming all candidates are present, etc). This will be a hybrid event. People who cannot go to Restaurant Zum Achter can vote remotely, but they need to login to the Zoom meeting before the election process begins. If you are going to be at the event in person, but you do not have access to a smart phone, please let us know. Of course, you will still be able to vote, but this information will help us accommodate all of our voters to make sure everyone has computer/phone access for voting.
