A special event film screening of Bad Faith: Christian Nationalism's Unholy War on Democracy a chilling documentary that explores the dangerous rise of Christian Nationalism in the United States.
Hosted by Democrats Abroad Suisse Romande, and generously distributed by the creators of the film, be sure not to miss this opportunity!
Part archival chronicle, part exposé, the film reveals the secretive political machinery that has relentlessly sought to weaken and destroy American democracy in order to promote its authoritarian vision. It seeks to shed light on the shadowy underworld of political extremism, and awaken citizens to its dangers, to inspire them to stand up and show up at the polls.
To follow the film, discussion points will be explored - We will take a deeper in-depth look and exploration into what truths this documentary uncovers and key take aways. The discussion will be moderated by Bob Piller, DA member and political podcaster.
As outreach for other resist movements supported within Europe for the US, Rachel Aronoff, head of "Resisters for Democracy - Europe" within Red, Wine & Blue, Troublenation, and a DASR member, will be in attendance for an introduction. Members from her group will be sharing space with us virtually as they are in other countries within Europe for this local event.
