We the people - Democracy against Autocracy!

On this day, Independence Day, we celebrate how the Constitution began! The first three words – “We The People” – affirms that the government of the United States exists to serve its citizens. We are those citizens. It is we who believe that democracy stands for the true and just foundation of America. Trump, MAGA and the followers of Trump believe another truth. Totalitarianism.

Therefor, as the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights within the Constitution is the freedom of speech, on Independence Day weekend, WE, as Democrats will also PROTEST what Trump believes are his truths. Total domination, to force us to be silent. We will not be silent, we will stand up against Trump and his autocracy! 

By standing together as Democrats Abroad on Independence day to voice our true selves, we will get personal and help protect our families and friends dealing with this tyranny daily on US soil. Fellow Patriots,

Post protest at The Great Escape...
Following the protest we can take a short walk up to the Riponne area to chill at The Great Escape Restaurant and Bar terrace, above the square to the right hand side, up the Escalier de l'Université.
