Kirsten Wharton is a cross-border estate lawyer at Polaris Tax Counsel in Vancouver Canada. Her focus is on cross-border estate planning for US citizens in Canada, US residents with Canadian real estate, Canadians with children in the US, and Canadians who own US real property.

Tanya Bartucz is a cross-border trust and estates lawyer  focusing on Ontario resident clients and working closely with the firm’s tax lawyers to implement tax efficient cross-border estate plans. She has practiced Ontario estate law and administration for over 15 years.

Tanya has practiced complex commercial litigation at Sidley Austin LLP in New York and Osler Hoskin & Harcourt LLP in Toronto. She holds a Masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Toronto and a JD from Harvard Law School. She is admitted to practice law in New York and Ontario.
