DPCA Resolutions: Town Hall #1 (AP/EMEA)
Join us for a DPCA Town Hall Discussion about 2025 Resolutions.
The DPCA will consider resolutions submitted by its members at the DPCA Global Meeting on June 6-8, 2025. Proposed resolution should pertain to the work of Democrats Abroad, and should not be irrelevant or contrary to the organization’s mission. Please consult the DA Charter for further information. The first Resolutions Town Hall will be held on Sunday May 11 at 3 AM US Eastern time for up to 2 hours. All are welcome to attend.

Town Hall Procedure (tentative based on the number of submissions):
During the Town Hall, each draft resolution will be given a total of ten (10) minutes, allotted as follows:

- Two (2) minutes for the primary sponsor to discuss the item,
- Three (3) minutes for the committee to ask questions, and
- Five (5) minutes for the public to make additional comments.
- If there's time remaining after the first discussions of each resolution, the committee may open discussion or comments on all resolutions, and will manage discussion appropriately.
Reminder Public Commenting Period:
- The Public commenting period ends on May 22, 2025, at 10 am Eastern.
- The texts of resolutions for the Town Hall will be made available to view on the Wiki.
- Public comment may be submitted 24hrs prior to the Town hall by emailing [email protected]. Please include the resolution number(s) in your comment.
- If you would like to add your name as a co-sponsor or supporter, please email [email protected] no later than 24hrs prior to the Town Hall. Please include the resolution number(s) in your request.
The committee reports will be sent out to the DPCA Voting Body with the 15-day notice, pursuant to the Charter.
