• Served in the elected positions of Maine State Representative (2020-2021) and School Board Member for the Town of Gorham, Maine (2016-2019); and, was appointed by the Mayor and City Council of Atlanta, Georgia to serve on its Human Rights Commission (2009-2010).
• Managed ballot measure campaigns that limited contributions to Super PACs (Maine, 2024); banned electoral activity by foreign governments, businesses, and individuals in ballot measure campaigns (Maine, 2023); and, won, protected, and expanded the nation’s first statewide ranked-choice voting law (Maine, 2016, 2018, 2019).
• Directed multi-million dollar fundraising operations for several state and national political organizations and campaigns, including the citizen’s initiative that won nation’s first-ever ballot measure victory for same-sex marriage (Maine 2012).
• Served on steering committees for several presidential campaigns (2004-2012); founded and led several chapters of Young Democrats and Stonewall Democrat, and served on the boards of director of both national organizations (2001-2010)
