Join us on the 17th – food, drinks, and good company - to honor Juneteenth, take stock of where our country stands, and help plan events as we work toward the November 2026 Midterm Elections.

Last year we marked the 160th anniversary of Juneteenth. This year marks its fifth as a national holiday — yet with the legislative rollbacks of the Trump administration, many are asking: what exactly is there to celebrate? For some, this is a moment to grieve. For others, to remember. For others still, to learn.

The America many of us knew is changing — rapidly and fundamentally. History left unexamined festers. It becomes a wound that allows a deeper sickness to take hold, one that may take years to heal. Part of that healing is facing the truth of some of our most painful chapters. History repeats itself when it is not learned — and untold stories disappear into the silence of forgotten memory.

So this Juneteenth, join us in person on the 17th. And before that, consider taking a walk through our past with DA Global's Freedom Weeks series.
