Arts and Democracy
Join us for an evening of conversation and performance around the impact of art on democracy - and democracy on art. Art isn't neutral and creative resistance helps us build and sustain the energy to fight for a healthy democracy.
We have four incredible artists who will speak from their perspectives and engage with the audience as well as performances by celebrated flamenco dancer and choreographer, Ricardo Castro Romero, and well-known DJ in the Madrid scene, Paloma Pérez Parsons. There will also be visual art on display at the beautiful Afro Conciencia venue.
AND we will have ballot return support for those who still need a little help! If you haven't gotten your ballot yet, please reach out to us and we can work with you to get it. These mid-terms count like never before!
Hope to see you ready to paint the town blue on October 22nd!
