Democrats Abroad Luxembourg celebrated Thanksgiving at the Hôtel Français in Luxembourg City with a lively evening of food, drinks, and lots of Champagne. The room was full, the atmosphere warm and friendly, and everyone clearly enjoyed the chance to reconnect and meet new people.
Between courses, guests tested their knowledge in a Thanksgiving quiz – and discovered just how many fun facts they didn’t know about the holiday. There was plenty of laughter as teams compared answers and shared stories from past Thanksgivings.
During the evening, former Chair Pat Canning took the floor to look back on the past year, highlighting the work, events, and commitment of the Democrats Abroad Luxembourg. Pat also expressed optimism for the year ahead, encouraging everyone to stay engaged and support the group’s efforts of supporting Democratic values.
Altogether, it was a memorable Thanksgiving: good food, great company, and a strong sense of community gathered around the table in the heart of Luxembourg City.
