I learned during 20 years as a U.S. diplomat that not being involved in politics means acceptance of whatever evils the world serves you. In my lifetime, the Democratic Party has been much better than the Republican Party at weeding out the scoundrels and sociopaths. American citizens in Greece should feel proud of their citizenship and ideally of their politicians and national policies. That means casting their US ballot every two years. Living in Athens, Greece, trained as a historian/archaeologist, hoping to help build the American community here.
