The 2026 midterms start now, and we're starting them with a party.
Democrats Abroad Kenya is opening the season with an afternoon built for the whole American community in Kenya: kids, partners, first-timers, and old hands alike. Come for an hour or stay for all three.
What's happening:
Voter Registration Station – Whether you've never requested a ballot from abroad or you just need to re-up for 2026, we'll walk you through it on the spot. Bring your laptop or phone; we'll bring the know-how. (Registering takes about ten minutes.)
Volunteer Station – Ever wondered what tabling or phonebanking actually looks like? Sit down at a live station and find out. No commitment, no pressure: just a real look at the work that turns registrations into votes, and a chance to try it yourself.
Conversation Station – Help us as DAKE better understand the issues driving you in the runup to the 2026 Midterms - then add them to our interactive US Map!
Family-friendly activities – Art projects and crafts for the younger members of the community, so parents can engage without boring the youngsters.
Space and materials are provided free of charge. Food and drink are available for purchase from Somerica.
Bring a friend, bring your kids, bring the neighbour who keeps meaning to sort out their ballot. Everything starts with showing up.
