The Pride of California: Will Rollins and Derek Marshall
Democrats Abroad is pleased to welcome Will Rollins, Democratic Candidate for Congress in CA-41 and Derek Marshall, Democratic Candidate in CA-23.
This event is co-sponsored by the Global LGBTQ+ Caucus, in observation of Pride Month, and the Californians Abroad State Team, in recognition that the road to control of the House runs through the Golden State.
These two LGBTQ+ candidates have excellent chances to win their races, and this is our opportunity for us to meet them, and them to meet us.

Will Rollins, Candidate for CA 41
Will Rollins is a former federal prosecutor who focused on counterterrorism and counterintelligence cases in Southern California.
He's running for Congress because he is concerned about the threats to our democracy and to our communities. Ken Calvert, the Republican incumbent, has a record of extremism and corruption.
Will is running for Congress to serve the 41st District of California. He plans to fight against corruption in Washington and to end the toxic partisanship that prevents Congress from getting anything done for working families.
Derek Marshall, Candidate for CA 23
Derek Marshall is an organizer and a community activist. He is running to fight for justice and equality. He helped found a global research initiative with the UN, and gained insights into effective social programs while working internationally.
After seeing the contrast between European social safety nets and American austerity economics, he felt compelled to return to the U.S. and fight for living wages, LGBTQ+ rights, universal healthcare, and more.
