Calling U.S. Landlines from a Mobile

You don’t have to rely on expensive international rates from mobile phone operators to reach out to legislators back in the States. There are several apps that let you call U.S. landlines and mobile numbers directly from your smartphone — often for a fraction of the cost.

Here are a few we’re testing, with their pros, cons, and current pricing details.

Note that there are other options out there, we do not make product recommendations, but we do want to make sure you have info to help you in your search for a calling solution.
