Monthly Mondays for Progressive Minds: The Need for Labor Unions
RSVP2022 is shaping up to be a banner year for grassroots labor organizing. Workers at Amazon, Starbucks, and many others are showing us exactly what it means when we say: When we organize, we win!
Join proDA for a discussion of why a healthy democracy needs labor unions, labor organizing successes, and ongoing challenges, including what we can do to help by demanding passage of the PRO Act. ProDA representatives will provide a framework for our discussion and we will hear from special guest experts:
- Kevin Prosen, United Federation of Teachers
- Roberto Clacke, Temp Worker Justice
- Harold Meyerson, editor of The American Prospect
We also will have ample opportunity to add our two cents AND plan action!
RSVP below to join with proDA to discuss how we can unite our voices for progress and win!
This event is part of the series Monthly Mondays for Progressive Minds.

Can you donate today to reach thousands of overseas voters and help ensure their votes are counted? Please donate here. Donate $1 (number of Congressional Progressive Caucus Senators), $100 (number of CPC Representatives), or any amount that’s meaningful to you - perhaps equal to the number of new members you want to join the CPC in November. Thank you!
