DA Colombia's Debate Watch Party!

FELLOW MEMBERS OF DEMOCRATS ABROAD COLOMBIA

 

As the presidential campaign ramps up in the months running up to the elections on November 5^th, we are excited to resume our in-person get-togethers. What better occasion than the first debate between President Biden and his main contender?

 

The debate watch is scheduled for Thursday, June 27^th, at 7:30 pm CO Time (debate starts at 8pm). For security reasons, we will be informing of the venue directly to those of you who confirm. However, I can say that it will be in the Cabrera-Nogal area of Bogotá.

 

After such a long hiatus, I am very interested in seeing long-time members and friends as well as meeting new ones, as I know quite a few of you have recently joined. It will also be a great opportunity for us to discuss volunteering options to help us get out the vote in these next crucial months. We may also take advantage of the time to hold our annual general meeting at this time.

 

For those living in other cities, I encourage you organize your own watch parties and send us pictures that we will be sharing with other country committees.

 

Note: This event will go forward whether or not both candidates turn up to the debate!
