Democrats Abroad South Africa AGM + ExCo Elections Announcement
DASA’s 2023-25 Executive Committee will be elected at this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on March 29th, 2023. Nominations deadline: 15th March 2023
Voting will be conducted electronically or in person at the AGM. Early voting by electronic means will be permitted – instructions will be included on the electronic ballot to be sent March 19, 2023.
The 2023 Nominations and Elections Committee (NEC) is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions: Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Counsel, up to two (2) Members-at-Large – The Member(s)-at-large responsibilities can(may) include: Email Database and Website Manager, Events Coordinator, social media and PR/Communication, and Membership Outreach.
A description of the roles and responsibilities of the Executive Committee can be found here. DASA’s By-laws can be provided upon email request. If you are interested in running for any of these positions or would like to nominate someone, please send your name and/or that of the nominee via email to the Nominations and Elections Committee at: [email protected] by the close of business on March 15th.
On Tuesday, March 14th from 5.30 – 6.30pm South African Time, DASA will host an Open House for interested person(s) to ask questions about the roles and responsibilities of the Executive Committee. Please click here to RSVP for the Open House.
