• Identify or create material for Website & Wiki
• Edit or Delete material as appropriate
• Find/foster ways to promote Website

GDC  Voter Registration/GOTV Liaison to Global GOTV Team

• Monitor GOTV efforts emanating from Global or other DA sources
• Engage Caucus members in GOTV effort
• Create Caucus-specific GOTV efforts as appropriate
• Evaluate Results of Efforts
• Work with Countries to encourage and support “assistance” teams

GDC Outreach Team Lead  (External to non members/voters and organizations)

• Identify businesses, facilities, or communities with a concentration of Americans
• Develop outreach materials specific to audiences which focus on VFA and provide these to countries/chapters and other DA groups or individuals
• Work with countries to identify organizations advocating for people with disabilities and provide them with materials/information they can use to inform U.S. citizens in their memberships

GDC Acessibility Lead 

• Develop program/materials for educating, encouraging, and implementing enhancements to DA accessibility efforts and overall member appreciation, advocacy, & knowledge of accessibility issues

NOTE: We are currently searching for people interested in helping, in some cases in leading, some specific projects.  These include helping to organize members to phonebank or do voter assistance work, to help develop targeted accessibility trainings (we have lots of info),to help identify, monitor, and organize action plans around specific legislation or administrative actions, and more.  Please write to [email protected] if you’d like to know more about these opportunities to lead the caucus forward.  We also need help that would only require an hour or two a week, so don’t count us out.

One way to learn about volunteer opportunities and find out more from folks who have “been there” is to attend one of the monthly Friday Chat sessions we hold in collaboration with the Senior Caucus. One of our goals is to establish a venue for conversation among members of and allies to our community. You’ll be able to meet some of the coolest members  - and hear some great stories. These gatherings are held monthly at 9 am Eastern time on the final Friday of the month. Check the Democrats Abroad Global Calendar to register.  We’d love to meet you!
